Ram is an album by Paul McCartney and Linda McCartney, released in 1971, the only album credited to the pair. It was the second of the two albums McCartney released between leaving The Beatles and forming Wings. Future Wings drummer Denny Seiwell plays on the record, alongside the McCartneys and session musicians.
Three singles were released from the album - the American #1 hit "Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey", the minor British hit "The Back Seat of My Car" and "Eat at Home", which was not released in either the United Kingdom or the United States.

Bought Ram in 1971 or whenever it came out and this was one of my favorite tracks, pure nonsense lyrics if you can understand them at all but a great tune along with Smile Away, etc.

I sincerely believe, and I think it is beyond any argument, that of the "Lennon - McCartney" writing team of the Beatles, Paul far "out talented" John in singing, writing, and musicianship (i.e., talent/versatility on instrument playing). Couple that in the solo years with a wife who shared the same goofy sense of humor, who complimented her husband, and looked like they were having a damn good time together. Linda definitely complimented Paul. Partially because of Linda, I think Paul and his musical record is miles above John. Unfortunately, John had the dour anvil around his neck called Yoko, who, I believe was a hinderance to John's solo productions. Can anyone say "wet blanket"? Where do you find a fun song like Monkberry Moon Delight with John and Yolo?

This song is stupidly catchy, lyrics don’t even make sense but i don’t care because they are the perfect mix of random words and sentences that sounds great, it’s dripping in psychedelia, has amazing vocals from Paul and Linda, a great Honky Tonk piano sound. Sounds like Helter Skelter, Being for the Benefit of Mr. kite, Hey Bulldog, and Ob-La-Di-Ob-La-Da all came together (no pun intended) to make one masterpiece of a song (not that the others weren’t already masterpieces in their own right) this is one of my favorite songs of any of the Beatles solo careers and by far my favorite of Paul’s songs post Beatles
